Jsme tzv. velc\u00ed maso\u017eravci. V divok\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edrod\u011b pot\u0159ebuje velk\u00fd maso\u017eravec zhruba 100 kus\u016f zv\u011b\u0159e, aby ukojil sv\u016fj hlad. Ov\u0161em v r\u00e1mci p\u0159\u00edrody se jedn\u00e1 o zanedbateln\u00e9 procento. Velk\u00fdch maso\u017eravc\u016f je nyn\u00ed p\u0159es 7 miliard, tedy v\u00edce ne\u017e 60 procent ve\u0161ker\u00e9ho zn\u00e1m\u00e9ho \u017eivota na zemi. T\u0159icet procent dal\u0161\u00edho \u017eivota vychov\u00e1v\u00e1me pro na\u0161i pot\u0159ebu. Ovce, slepice, kr\u00e1vy a dal\u0161\u00ed domestikovan\u00e1 zv\u00ed\u0159ata, kter\u00fdmi nahrazujeme divokou faunu. A pot\u00e9 je zde n\u011bjak\u00fdch 5 procent voln\u011b \u017eij\u00edc\u00edch zv\u00ed\u0159at od my\u0161\u00ed po slony. To je tro\u0161ku hrub\u00e9 \u010d\u00edslo, ne? Nikdo si nechce p\u0159iznat, \u017ee je to v\u0161echno jedna velk\u00e1 iluze, kterou se obklopujeme, proto\u017ee nechceme ud\u011blat jedin\u00fd krok z na\u0161\u00ed pohodln\u00e9 z\u00f3ny. Maso je nahraditeln\u00e9, \u010dlov\u011bk nepot\u0159ebuje maso ka\u017ed\u00fd den. Je naprosto v po\u0159\u00e1dku d\u00e1t si maso dvakr\u00e1t \u010di t\u0159ikr\u00e1t t\u00fddn\u011b, mo\u017en\u00e1 i m\u00e9n\u011b. Zbytek j\u00eddel ale mus\u00ed tvo\u0159it bohat\u00e1 strava na zeleninu. Nejen\u017ee je to v\u0161echno kv\u016fli tomu, abychom v\u016fbec mohli p\u0159e\u017e\u00edt jako druh na t\u00e9to dobr\u00e9 zemi, ale z\u00e1rove\u0148 je to i pro n\u00e1s, abychom se mohli do\u017e\u00edt vysok\u00e9ho v\u011bku ve zdrav\u00ed a v pohod\u011b.
